It's OK Transfer Your Balance - Save a Lot of Money With 0% Balance Transfer Offers
We all get the offers in the mail, and more times than not, they go right to the trash. The 0% balance transfers offers, however, are worth filing away for the right time to use them. Although they may seem to be just another credit card offer, they could be extremely beneficial to you if you use them the right way.
0% balance transfer offers can range in terms of shapes and sizes. Here are some examples:
- 0% interest rate for 1 year on your balance. All new charges are charged the going rate.
- 0% introductory rate for all purchases and transfers for 12 months
- 0% interest rate for 15 months on all purchases and transfers
Be careful not to transfer your balance with a card that includes unnecessary fees such as this deal:
- 0% balance transfer interest rate, but a 3% balance transfer fee.
- This could cost you big initially, up to $100
Most credit cards offer deals similar to this to try to lure people who ring up large balances on their credit cards. They want you to transfer a large balance from your previous card provider to their card in hopes that you will continue making large purchases in the future and maybe even fail to pay off this current large balance, therefore paying them the high interest charges in the future.
The idea of transferring your balance to another credit card may seem like a lot of work, but I'll show you how to save a lot of money using 0% balance transfer offers.
